2010: בנגקוק, תאילנד. השתחררתי מעזה לפני שבועיים, ואני כבר מסתובב בעולם פלופ ואבוד. מגיע לבית חב״ד בנגקוק, קופצים עליי איזה 200 מנדי ומרגיעים אותי. הגעתי הביתה.![]()

2011: קוסקו, פרו. נגמר לי הכסף. הרב עופר נדלק עליי ומציע לי להיות שליח פיצה בתמורה ללינה חינם. לא מכריח אותי להניח תפילין או לשמור שבת, וזה בדיוק מה שגורם לי להצטרף אליו לקורס קבלה. 4 ימים שבהם אני לא מבין כלום כי אני בן 22 עם יכולת ריכוז של קיפוד אבל מי יודע, אולי חזרתי משם יהודי טוב יותר.![]()

2012: קאסול, הודו, ראש השנה. 400 נרקומנים, הרב צ׳ילום מברך. מדי פעם אני זורק הערות וכולם צוחקים. במקום להתעצבן, הוא מזמין גם אותי לתת ברכה. זה היה הסטנד-אפ הראשון שלי.![]()

2013: ראשל״צ, ישראל. בית החייל המשוחרר. במשך שנה אני לא מפסיד סעודת שבת עם הרב דותן. ממשיך להתאהב במסורת. לימים הוא היה אמור לחתן אותי אבל במקום זה לקחתי רב שכונה שמחתן בשישי ושאמבטיה תופסת אצלו כמקווה. אני יהודי טוב, אבל בתנאים שלי.![]()

2019: ניו יורק, ארה״ב. מופיע מול 200 ישראלים. עם טבעת בכיס. סוף המופע קורא לאביה לעלות לבמה. היא לא זורמת כי חושבת שאני שוב מסתלבט. הטבעת נשארה בכיס. האדם מתכנן תוכניות, ואלוהים בוחר את הרגע הנכון בשבילן.![]()
אחרי שבוע זה קורה. ערב סוכות, בדיוק ביומולדת שלי, ואיפה חוגגים חג שאתה בטיול? בדיוק. אני גיא והצעתי נישואין בבית חב״ד סן פדרו בגואטמלה. רומנטיקה תוצרת השם.![]()

Before I met my rabbi and joined the Chabad of Colorado Springs Jewish Community בית חבד קולורדו ספרינגס. I'm glad to have met Rabbi and his family nearly a year after this, especially once I had a place to finally give tzedakah that wasn't idol worship.

This has been a very wonderful experience. I was not raised Jewish although my DNA says I am and I have appreciated the community as well as the learning experience
